How to Control Apple TV from Control Center with iOS 11 on iPhone

 

With iOS 11 on iPhone, Control Center is finally customizable. One of the features that you can add to Control Center is your Apple TV Remote. That way, you always have quick and easy access to the Apple Remote app so that you can control Apple TV. To my surprise, you don’t even need the Apple TV Remote app; you just need to add Apple TV Remote to Control Center. Here’s how to control Apple TV from Control Center with iOS 11 on iPhone.

How to Control Apple TV from Control Center with iOS 11 on iPhone

  • Open Settings.
  • Tap Control Center.
  • Select Customize Controls.

  • Tap the + inside the green circle next to Apple TV Remote.
  • Swipe up to open Control Center.

  • Tap the icon that’s the Apple logo plus TV.
  • The Apple TV Remote will pop up and begin looking for your Apple TV.

  • Once it’s found your Apple TV, you can control your Apple TV using the Apple TV Remote from right within Control Center.
